Over 30 years ago, SMH Products was established as a manufacturer of fibreglass products. Since then, we have grown to become an ISO9001 quality accredited manufacturer of decontamination equipment, and a leading supplier of site consumables - including respiratory equipment, disposable clothing and polythene products. 

We are proud to offer a nationwide service, with 8 branches strategically located across the UK, with our central warehouse and manufacturing facility based in the North East of England. We have a global reach, with our equipment being exported via our carefully selected distribution partners across Europe, Asia, and Australia.

SMH Products is a leading manufacturer of specialist equipment, including industrial decontamination shower units and negative pressure units. Our equipment is available to buy or hire, with our extensive hire fleet featuring a range of SMH manufactured equipment available for long or short-term hire.

We are proud to hold an ISO9001 quality accreditation and have an in-house team of experienced Design Engineers who can create bespoke solutions for our customers.

Our Service

All members of our team undergo extensive training in order to provide the best service - as a result we are proud to be a 3M and Sundstrom approved service centre. Other services include Fit2Fit accredited face fits, mask tests, and Gas Safe accredited gas tests.

SMH Products undertakes to supply only safety equipment and/or related services that fully comply with the standards and regulations and claims made relating to those products and/or related services. Where appropriate, SMH Products will maintain up to date technical files and associated documentation to ensure that regulatory compliance information can be supplied upon request.

Where products are sourced from external organisations which hold technical files relating to the products being offered, SMH Products will request confirmation that these files are current, complete, contain appropriate conformity assessment information and, where relevant, regulatory compliance certificates and will take all necessary steps to confirm the validity of the compliance documentation held by that external supplier in respect of the products being sourced.

Where services are provided related to safety equipment sourced from external organisations, SMH Products will maintain approval from the manufacturer that the services provided are assessed and approved by the external organisation.
